Compare your metrics using one definition
If two teams bring different sales figures, the meeting usually starts by trying to explain the gap. Business intelligence (BI) lets you agree on how each metric is calculated and read it from a dashboard everyone interprets the same way.
When it makes sense
It is especially useful when you already collect the data but each team recalculates its own metrics. We can start from one of your regular meetings and define which question the dashboard should answer so that meeting ends with a decision.
How we help
We work on the data warehouse you already have. We define the calculation rules in a shared place and design dashboards for your team's decisions. Each person can explore the information by period, channel or branch, depending on the question they need to answer.
An example
At month-end, sales counts every sale and finance subtracts returns. Once the definition of net sales is agreed, both teams can see the same total and explore which branches have returns that explain a drop.
What your company receives
When the project ends, your team has:
- Dashboards with the agreed metrics and filters for your team.
- A metrics catalog with each definition and its calculation rules.
- A guide to using the dashboards and interpreting the available information.
